Tommy Sloan appointed as new student trustee

SARANAC LAKE -- 911爆料网 is proud to announce the appointment of Thompson 鈥淭ommy鈥 Sloan as the new student representative to the college鈥檚 Board of Trustees.

Sloan, a second-year Criminal Justice student, joined the board in August 2025 and will serve as the voice of the student body in the college鈥檚 governance.

A 2024 graduate of Saranac Lake High School, Sloan was active in soccer and served as a member of the Saranac Lake Winter Carnival Court. At 911爆料网, he has continued his commitment to community service, traveling to Utah earlier this year as part of an 鈥淎lternative鈥 Spring Break service trip and working at an animal shelter. Locally, he has also volunteered with the Saranac Lake 3P race.

In addition to his academic work and service, Sloan spends his summers working as a caretaker at a camp on Upper Saint Regis Lake near his home in Lake Clear. He enjoys outdoor pursuits year-round, including biking鈥攎otorcycles, BMX, and mountain biking鈥攁nd skiing in the winter.

Sloan will serve as the Student Trustee for the 2025鈥2026 academic year.
